  • ~20-mile pipeline from Arkansas Loop to Coyote Gulch (99% complete)
  • ~2.4-mile pipeline from Coyote Gulch to Kinder Morgan Cortez Pipeline (nearing completion)
    • Owned and constructed by Kinder Morgan
  • Red Sage Carbon Capture Facility adjacent to Arkansas Loop Treating Facility (~80% complete)
  • Designed to capture and transport ~300,000 mtpy of CO2for sequestration in Texas
  • Anticipated to be in service in November -2025

Design Basis:

  • 5 miles of 8’’ 0.322’’ and 0.500’’ wall thickness CO2 pipeline. (API-5L GR X65 PSL2 ERW)
  • Starts at Red Sage CO2 Compressor Station
  • Custody Transfer to Kinder Morgan occurs East of Red Cedar Coyote Compressor Station
  • Design code ASME B31.4/ Title 49 CFR 195
  • Maximum Operating Pressure = 3000 psig
  • Maximum Design Temperature = 120F
  • CO2 State – Supercritical
  • Depth of bury – 4’-0’’
