Red Cedar Gathering Company captures compresses and transports CO2 in LaPlata County, Colorado. The CO2 pipeline is approximately 20-miles long with a normal operating pressure of 1400 – 1550 psig and an MAOP of 3,000 psig.

  • The Red Sage Carbon Capture Facility is designed to capture the CO2 from the central treating plants.  The CO2 is compressed and delivered into the CO2 pipeline and transported to Coyote Gulch where the custody transfer occurs and then is delivered into Kinder Morgan’s Cortez Pipeline.
  • The CO2 pipeline is designed to transport ~300,000 mtpy of CO2 for sequestration in West Texas.
  • Red Cedar Gathering Company holds an ownership interest and operates the Red Sage facility and CO2 pipeline in Southwestern Colorado.
